
The RAND Corporation is a nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization that aims to help improve policy and decisionmaking through research and analysis. RAND works on a variety of issues including security, health, education, sustainability, growth, and development. Since 1989, the RAND Drug Policy Research Center has conducted research to help community leaders and public officials develop more effective ways of dealing with drug problems. The Center’s goal is to provide a firm, empirical foundation on which sound policies can be built.
