Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $25,000 to the Amistad Law Project for general support. The Amistad Law Project plans to use these funds to support efforts to organize families of people serving life sentences in Pennsylvania and to advocate for expanded clemency and parole eligibility.
This follows Open Philanthropy's February 2019 support and falls within its focus area of criminal justice reform.
