The Open Philanthropy Project awarded a grant of $99,360 to Brighter Green to support its work on farm animal welfare advocacy in China. Brighter Green is a public policy action tank that works to raise awareness of and encourage policy action on issues related to the environment, animals, and sustainability.

This grant is part of a series of grants Open Philanthropy has recommended to support organizations working in China to promote the welfare of farm animals. Open Philanthropy plans to write more about its thinking behind these grants in the future.
