Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of £36,547 (approximately $46,524 at the time of conversion) to Imperial College London to support a project led by Dr. Joseph Challenger.
The project aims to update model predictions of the impact of a malaria transmission-blocking vaccine (Pfs230D1/Matrix-M), either alone or in combination with the R21 or RTS,S vaccines.
This falls within Open Philanthropy’s focus area of global health R&D.
