Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $60,000 to Michael Specter to support his work teaching two courses related to existential risk at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
This follows Open Philanthropy’s September 2022 support for teaching the same courses in a previous year.
Open Philanthropy sought applications for this funding to support the development of courses on a range of topics that are relevant to certain areas of its grantmaking.
