Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $120,000 over two years to the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) to support research toward a report on the environmental impact of insect farming and a journal article on advancing animal welfare in the next UN Sustainable Development Agenda. SEI will also engage in opportunities to further farmed animal welfare in sustainable development policy. SEI is a Swedish research and policy institute that focuses on environmentalism and sustainable development.
