To support TOP's work on criminal justice reform.

Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $3,000,000 over two years to the Texas Organizing Project Education Fund (TOP) to support work on criminal justice reform. TOP plans to use these funds to expand its criminal justice reform and prosecutor accountability work in Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas. These cities have high incarceration rates, and TOP believes there are many potential policy changes that would generate substantial impact.

This follows Open Philanthropy's August 2018 support and falls within its focus area of criminal justice reform.
