Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $575,000 to Training for Good to support the Tarbell Fellowship, a one-year program for early-career journalists interested in covering emerging technologies (especially artificial intelligence). The grant will provide additional support for the program and general operating support to Training for Good, as well as allow a current fellow to extend their fellowship period.
This falls within Open Philanthropy’s focus area of growing and empowering the community of people focused on global catastrophic risk reduction.
