The Open Philanthropy Project recommended a grant of $500,000 to WildAid to support campaigns to promote the reduction of meat consumption in the Asia-Pacific region. WildAid plans to use these funds to produce another public service announcement campaign featuring celebrities in television advertisements and on billboards promoted in Beijing, Shanghai, and other major Asian cities, including Hong Kong and others.
This follows Open Philanthropy's March 2018 grant and falls within its focus area of farm animal welfare.
