Good Ventures awarded a grant of $20,000 to GiveWell in June 2013 to support GiveWell's capacity to research the history of philanthropy and funding opportunities in policy advocacy. We expect GiveWell will use these funds to hire research consultants in these areas and to pay for other research-related expenses.
