The Open Philanthropy Project recommended a grant of $150,000 to We Got Us Now to support leadership development, training children of incarcerated parents, and organizational strategic planning. We Got Us Now is a national organization seeking to engage, educate, elevate and empower children of incarcerated parents and raise public awareness about the impacts of parental incarceration.
This follows Open Philanthropy's June 2018 support and falls within its focus area of criminal justice reform.
