Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $300,000 to the Sightline Institute to support its work on housing and urban development. Sightline Institute, a Seattle-based think tank focused on sustainability issues in the Pacific Northwest, plans to use these funds to build coalitions in support of allowing more housing in Washington and Oregon.

This follows Open Philanthropy’s February 2019 support and falls within its focus area of land use reform.
